As we now come to the end of June the Historic Le Mans 24 hour race was won by Porsche, and included in the winning 919 Hybrid car crew was British driver Nick Tandy.
British Summer of Motorsport in full swing
We are also about to witness the culmination of the first season of Formula E with the British E-Prix being held in London on the 27th of the month.
Preparations are in full swing for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on July 5th, with Lewis Hamilton leading his Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg by ten points, as they continue their fierce battle for F1 supremacy.
The World’s largest historic racing festival the Silverstone Classic, takes place between the 24th/26th July, including around 1200 competitors from all across the globe, and is a wonderful family friendly event including fairground rides, car clubs, auto jumble, auctions and live music, as well as all the on track action.
Moto GP returns to Silverstone between August 28th/30th, with Jorge Lorenzo in fine form as he battles with his team mate Valentino Rossi and the Honda pair of Marquez and Pedrosa in the top Moto GP class. Brit Danny Kent currently leads the Moto 3 standings.
As teams and manufacturers now turn their attention to developing new concepts for 2016 and beyond.
Tekdata remain busy as we work with existing and new customers to look at how we can best package harness requirements, which will give our partners a competitive advantage. Reducing weight and physical harness bundle sizes which will aid multiple installation requirements, are common with today’s Hybrid systems.
