This means that as the scanner rotates round the patient the cable can perform in an efficient and reliable way whilst including power and twisted pair signal wires within the cable structure.

• Feedthrough grommets provide a secure anchor to the rotating cables and ensure that their angle of bend is positioned sympathetically.
